3 things you should consider before choosing a Wedding Venue
Choosing a wedding venue is up there with the most difficult decisions to make when planning a wedding. On top of all the hundreds of things you have to consider in great detail, the location is really at the heart of your big day. The food, the celebration and the coming together of family and friends should be nothing short of perfect. Here are 3 top tips for helping you make the big decision.
Even in our world of fast paced technology and digital at every corner we turn, you simply cannot beat word of mouth when it comes to choosing a wedding venue. Ask around and get testimonials – no-one’s opinion will be of better value to you that the people who have been there.
The best way to thank your guests and to ensure they are well fuelled for the party is to make sure the food you serve is to the highest standard possible. At the Valley Hotel, we are fortunate to house the finest chefs and the finest food standards available. Our wonderful bride and groom Conor and Irena recently remarked:
“Another favourite was the food, all our guests commented how the food was the best they have ever had at a wedding. We knew the food would be good through Paul the head chef who has trained with some of the top restaurants in London before returning back to the family business.”
You’ll know from the moment you enter a wedding location if it is right for you. Service is everything and you should expect nothing but the finest. At Valley hotel, we pride ourselves on our service levels of excellence. An Extra Special Bride
Kylie & Joe
It’s the biggest day of your life, one you dream of from a young age. The day you get to wear the most amazing dress and all the attention is on you. From the moment you get engaged it’s all you think about; your hair, the bridesmaids, the photographer and the biggest decision; the venue. Once you have settled on a date you go on the hunt for the perfect place to host your wedding for your family and friends.
However for local lass Kylie things were a little bit different. From the moment she got engaged to her English gentleman Joe five years ago, her heart was set on hosting her wedding reception at the Valley Hotel in Fivemiletown. Nestled between Tyrone and Fermanagh we here at the Valley pride ourselves at being head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to weddings. A family run business and serving the community since 46 we will stop at nothing to provide pure perfection for any couple on their wedding day.
So needless to say we were delighted that Kylie and Joe were going to be sharing their big day with us because they were not just any average couple, Kylie worked at the Valley Hotel for 6 years and ‘didn’t even consider’ another venue as she knew that with our track record we would look after her, her new husband and their guests.
With a warm rustic theme to die for, the wedding room was styled by local florist and room décor specialists McGarry Flowers .The top table was oozed colour and texture like nothing we had seen before! A modern take on the wedding cake, Kylie and Joe opted for a mouth-watering five-tiered sponge draped in fruit and icing sugar by Cherry Tree home bakery in Fermanagh.
With a wedding at the Valley Hotel, there is no request too big for our couples. We work together and will meet you at every point in the organisation of your wedding to ensure your day has the best food & customer service that your guest will be raving about for months.
