The Valley Hotel, Fivemiletown Co Tyrone has been awarded 3 stars by the AA. The award comes in recognition of excellent facilities and service offered by the hotel.
The AA is Ireland’s longest established and leading Hotels inspection body. They work hand-in-hand with hoteliers and guesthouse owners to continually raise standards in accommodation and dining, with their key focus being hospitality and service from the customer’s perspective.
For hotels, star ratings from one to five indicate the level of service, range of facilities and quality of guest care that you can expect. Hotels are required to meet progressively higher standards as they move up the scale from one to five stars.
The Williamson Family and staff of The Valley Hotel were all delighted at the news of the 3 star award and felt it was well deserved after their total refurbishment of the hotel which was in excess of £1m. The renovation was completed in July 2007 and have, since come a long way in providing an excellent and very high standard service to its guests.

The ethos of our Good Food Circle is that, as restaurateurs, we source as many of our ingredients as we can from local producers. However, we don’t rely on our food alone to delight our guests - we embrace the total experience by addressing areas such as staff training, cleanliness and hygiene and the comfort and atmosphere of the individual premises when setting the criteria to which our members must adhere. Quality and standards are very important words in our vocabulary.
